Arabianranta is known as an art and design district, bordering the unique beach park. In the area or in its immediate vicinity there are significant historical buildings, such as Arabia’s old factory building, Bokvillan, as well as Villa Anneberg, which were all built in the 19th century. The housing companies belonging to Arabian Palvelu Oy, as well as the farms including the works of art, were built in 2002-2013.

Arabiastranden is built according to the percentage principle: the city has obliged the land\/property owners to spend 1-2 percent of the project costs on works of art.

In addition to the artworks owned by Arabian Palvelu Oy, there is plenty of public art owned by the housing companies and the City of Helsinki in the area.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n\n
